The TFM Platform
At THE TRIPLE FIGHT MUSEUM, every object carries a story. More importantly, each object sits within a larger story—one shaped by struggle, shaped by movement, and shaped by the conditions of its time.
This page serves as your guide to the platform and to the TFM COLLECTION it brings to life.
How to Use This Page
Think of this as a map.
From here, you can explore the ideas that shape how the Collection is built, how it is interpreted, and how it is shared.
Some visitors will move through each section in order. Others will follow their curiosity.
Both approaches are welcome.

ETHOS
The ETHOS page outlines the purpose of TFM and the principles that guide the work.
It reflects a commitment to truth, to careful observation, and to the belief that understanding the past can help advance good in the present.
ORIGIN
Every system has a beginning.
The ORIGIN page traces how THE TRIPLE FIGHT MUSEUM took shape—not as a finished idea, but as a response to questions that would not go away.
What began as an effort to better understand the world surrounding a single figure grew into a broader realization: that boxing, war, and the struggle for equality and justice were not separate stories, but interconnected expressions of human conflict and aspiration.
This section shares how those connections were first recognized, and how they led to the development of THE TRIPLE FIGHT and the approach that guides the TFM COLLECTION today.
THE FRAMEWORK
The TFM 6-Part Framework guides how objects are studied and interpreted.
It developed over time, shaped by questions that demanded better answers. It remains a flexible structure—present in every piece of work, even when not fully visible.
TFM COLLECTION
The TFM COLLECTION includes a range of materials—postcards, photographs, printed ephemera, and fine art—organized across multiple themes and categories.
These include:
- FIGHTS — F1 (Rings), F2 (Nations), F3 (Equality and Justice)
- LOCATION — cities, regions, and sites of historical activity
- TIME — periods that help situate events and experiences
- OTHER THEMES — such as aviation, film, advertising, and people
The platform is still in development.
As it continues to grow, visitors will be able to explore the Collection through these pathways in greater depth. For now, we offer brief descriptions to help orient you to what is present—and what is taking shape.
ON THE CARD
On the Card is a featured series drawn from the TFM COLLECTION, focusing on postcards, trade cards, and other printed materials.
Each entry begins with a single object and expands outward through observation and context, revealing connections that are not always immediately visible.
A Final Note
You do not need to take it all in at once.
This is a place to return to—again and again—as new connections begin to emerge.
Because the goal is not simply to look.
It is to learn how to see.
